PROGRAMident is set up to have certain privileges and access to the database which apply after the
ENTERstatement has been used and replace those that apply to the ident executing the
ENTERstatement may only be issued for idents of type
ENTERmay not be used to log on to the system.
To perform an
ENTERoperation for a
PROGRAMident, the current ident must have
EXECUTEprivilege on that ident.
ENTERstatement may not be issued inside a transaction.
ENTERoperation is successfully performed, the privileges granted to the new current ident apply and those granted to the previous current ident are suspended until the
PROGRAMident is left, see LEAVE (PROGRAM ident).
