BUILTINcontains user-defined types and methods used to store and search spatial data in an efficient manner The functionality allows positions to be indexed and searched quickly.There are two basic groups of spatial data:
Geographical data, i.e. positions on the Earth's surface. See Geographical Data.
- Coordinate system data, i.e. positions in a two-dimensional plane. See Coordinate System Data.
