| Update Statistics | When this option is choosen the SQL command UPDATE STATISTICS is executed before the database files are moved to the handheld device. In addition to giving the SQL optimizer up-to-date information, the command also removes data in SYSDB not needed on the handheld device. |
| Apply compression to Data only | This option compresses the database files before moving them to the handheld device. It is recommended that you use this option as it will allow data to be stored more efficiently on the device. This option also affects data that is later inserted into the database on the handheld device. If this option is deselected the database server that holds the data must be stopped in order for the wizard to gain direct access to the files. If the option is selected a consistent snapshot of the database is taken online. |
| Apply compression to System views | System views that are not used are dropped and removed from the system before exporting. Unused system data, such as error message texts that may not occur in a Mimer SQL Mobile server, are also removed. |
| Apply compress to System views and metadata | When this option is enabled, system metadata, system schema
security and error message texts are removed from the system.
Unused system views are also removed. Enabling this option will
produce the smallest database files and is appropriate for Mimer
SQL Micro servers.
Note: Database files exported with this option enabled can not be imported, since their original state cannot be recovered. |
| Overwrite existing database files on handheld | If you are exporting data to a database that already exists, this option will overwrite the old files. An export to a handheld device always collects all database files into a single directory. Therefore it is not possible to overwrite data from another database. |
