This Wizard is part of the Mimer SQL Mobile product.
The Import from handheld environment wizard is used to move database files from a handheld device to a local database on a desktop computer. Both the database on the handheld device and on the desktop must have been defined when the wizard is invoked. Import is supported from the Pocket PC environment and is not supported from the Symbian environment.
The same program, and interface, is used when importing databases from the Pocket PC emulation environment to the desktop.
The wizard is started by right-clicking on a local or remote database, and selecting the menu-option import to handheld/emulation from the popup-menu.
Note: Please be very careful with this function as an entire database on the local computer may be replaced by the database from the handheld device. When this happens the database on the local computer will be lost and you have to revert to your latest backup if you do this inadvertently. The wizard will display extra pages and warn when this is about to occur.
