2008-01-23 -- Now Mimer SQL 9.3 is released for Windows 200x/XP/Vista. With the 9.3 version Mimer SQL has further improved the extensive feature set. Some of the new features are a BEGINS function for LIKE predicates, the read-only databank support and the FOR loop construction in PSM. Within the multi-lingual field we have added several new collations for Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Indonesian and various Indian languages. Mimer SQL 9.3 also includes a new version of the graphical front-end tool DbVisualizer with extended functionality and an even tighter Mimer SQL integration. 2007-10-26 -- The Mimer SQL Realtime Edition, which is now available, makes it possible to model both hard real-time and non real-time data in one single database. Data can safely be shared between these two worlds without any need for data redundancy and home-made data storage solutions. It is based on a research project at the Mälardalen Real-Time Research Centre with input from automotive, process automation and tele communication industries. You will recognize the structure and layout of the documentation packages for Mimer SQL Engine and for Mimer JDBC, while the documentation for Mimer SQL Mobile 9.3 has been slightly reorganized. Along with the main Mimer SQL Mobile documentation set, there are now three additional guides; A Getting Started guide for Windows, an Administration and Management guide for Windows and, a programming guide covering the Mimer C++ API for Symbian OS.
