With Mimer 11 the Mimer SQL database product has taken many large and important steps to continue deliver the excellent performance, robustness and availability that has been the trademark for decades.
Among the changes made, all the internal formats have changed to be 64-bit based in order to fully utilize new and constantly emerging hardware. Being 64-bit enabled virtually means unlimited storage, only limited by the underlying file and operating system.
A completely new and very capable SQL compiler is also introduced. Besides from giving a major performance boost and many new features, it provides a modern platform for interesting and demanding development in the area.
